What does Lanelo Pro add?
Playing your files never needs Pro: every format, your library, subtitles inside or next to the file, resume, Explore and the Android TV interface all come with Lanelo. Pro adds everything marked Pro on this page, from AI subtitles and network shares to the equaliser and the private vault.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
You never need an account. Your own files play without internet. Explore, subtitle search, streaming, Cast and the first download of the AI subtitle model or a translation language need a connection.
Does Lanelo send my files or viewing history anywhere?
No. Your library, history, playlists and vault stay on your device and are deleted when you uninstall. There is no JK Codes server for the app to talk to. Google ML Kit and the Cast SDK inside the app send Google their own diagnostic data; the privacy policy says exactly what.
Does it work on Android TV and Google TV?
Yes. Install Lanelo from Google Play on the TV and it opens in its 10-foot interface, built for the remote. On Google TV, unfinished films appear in the Watch Next row.
I have Pro. Will it follow me to a new phone or my TV?
Yes. Pro belongs to your Google account, so it comes back when you reinstall and works on any phone, tablet or TV signed in to Google Play with the same account.
